NOTE: this new programme will begin soon … especially when the days get a little warmer. But there are lots of things you can do with children outdoors in winter as well.

WELCOME TO OUR RESIDENT NATURE ENTHUSIAST … Kate Foster. Take it away, Kate!

No matter your stance on climate change, we’re all capable of appreciating nature and wildlife a little more than we already do, and perhaps learning to respect the world around us from as young an age as possible might give kids the tools to make a difference in the long run.

Because if children don’t have the respect or appreciation for the wildlife they can see out their window, how do we expect them to care for the entire world?

So, while you’re stuck at home during these days of Covid-19, try a few of these simple things I’ll be posting to connect your kids (and you!) with nature. And the best thing: you don’t need to ban screen time (except for school work!); you can incorporate it
